Apadana Project
Architect: Mr.Masih.Akhlaghi
Location:Iran,Isfahan,Apadana.St
Type: Residential Building
Project idea:
Located in one of Isfahan’s modern neighborhoods, this project aims to redefine the relationship between simplicity, order, and contemporary urban living. The five-story building adopts a minimalist and modern architectural language, designed to harmonize with its urban surroundings while maintaining a distinct and recognizable identity.
The design concept is based on creating a balance between volume proportions, the rhythm of openings, and the use of natural materials. The building’s form emerges from the composition of cubic masses with controlled recesses, enhancing the play of light and shadow across the façade. These visual depths emphasize the rhythmic arrangement of windows and bring a sense of dynamism to the overall form.
The façade features a combination of thermowood and modern brick in neutral tones, materials that convey both warmth and solidity. Large glass panels introduce ample natural light into the interior spaces, reinforcing the visual and spatial connection between inside and outside.
At the ground level, the design embraces transparency and functional clarity, evident in the main entrance and commercial front. The careful detailing of openings, edges, and frames reflects the architect’s attention to precision and human-scale aesthetics.
This project represents an effort to craft a new interpretation of contemporary urban architecture in Isfahan—one that, through simplicity and refinement, enhances the city’s fabric and gives deeper meaning to urban living.
