Project idea: The Artiman Residential Project in Isfahan was designed with the goal of creating a distinctive façade that harmonizes with the city’s traditional brick context. The main design concept is based on the interaction between solid and void, and the dialogue between traditional and contemporary materials.
In this composition, soft, curved grey volumes penetrate the brick mass, forming a balanced conversation between warm and cool materials. The use of brick as the background recalls the historic architecture of Isfahan, while the modern grey shell expresses a contemporary architectural language.
The balance between rigid forms and fluid openings establishes rhythm on the façade while also managing light and privacy within the interior spaces. The cantilevered balconies with glass railings and minimal details emphasize a sense of lightness and contrast against the brick texture.
At the entrance, the combination of dark stone and natural wood introduces warmth and tranquility, while the vertical lighting installation enhances the perception of depth and movement.
Overall, Artiman represents an attempt to reinterpret the architectural identity of Isfahan in a contemporary language — where brick, concrete, and glass engage in a harmonious dialogue, offering a renewed image of modern urban living.
