Jolfa Project

Architect: Mr.Masih.Akhlaghi

Location: Iran,Isfahan,Jolfa.st

Type: Residential Building

Status: Completed

Project idea:

The façade of this residential project, located in Jolfa Street, Isfahan, is designed with a focus on blending traditional materials with modern forms. Extensive use of brick as the main cladding material evokes the authentic architecture of Isfahan, while simple geometries, curved surfaces, and horizontal and vertical frames give it a contemporary identity.

The cylindrical volume at the corner of the building not only acts as a visual focal point in the massing but also improves vertical connectivity and the penetration of natural light. The terraces and balconies, defined by dark railings against a brick background, create a visual contrast that adds dynamism and avoids monotony.

Attention to detail, the use of clean lines, and a thoughtful play of materials result in a harmonious and pleasant aesthetic that enriches the urban fabric of Jolfa and reflects a commitment to context-aware, responsible architecture.
