Location: Iran,Isfahan
Type: Residential Building
Status: Completed
Project idea:
This residential project, located in an urban neighborhood of Isfahan, is designed to strike a balance between visual appeal, functionality, and harmony with its surroundings. The building’s façade features a refined combination of vertical yellow brickwork, clean white surfaces, and gray stone elements, offering a contemporary yet inviting aesthetic.
The use of vertically grooved bricks adds a dynamic texture to the façade, creating natural light and shadow interplay throughout the day. At night, this texture responds beautifully to architectural lighting, giving the building a distinct and elegant presence. The ground floor entrance, framed with wooden paneling and dark stone, creates a sense of warmth and security, serving as a graceful transition from public to private space.
Deep-set balconies on each level not only preserve the privacy of the residents but also enhance natural ventilation and offer visual connectivity with the outdoors. The volumetric design—through subtle recesses and projections—adds rhythm and vitality to the building while optimizing light access for each unit.
Utilizing sustainable materials and a human-centered design approach, this project exemplifies successful contemporary urban architecture that respects Iranian identity while meeting the needs of modern living.
