Isfahan Livestock Farmers Union Building: Blending Local Identity and Structure
The design concept for the Isfahan Livestock Farmers Union Building is based on merging authentic local identity with a modern administrative structure. In this project, two types of brick are used to define the two main sections of the facade:
The broad and dominant sections are clad in white/light-colored brick, conveying a sense of strength, order, and efficiency befitting a formal organization, featuring clean lines and strong geometric forms. In contrast, orange/brown brick is used to evoke authenticity, warmth, and the traditional roots of livestock farming and the local Isfahan architecture.
This intelligent combination, utilizing perforated brick patterns and protruding volumes in the upper sections, not only adds visual interest but also helps create shadow and depth on the facade. These dynamic shadows, while conveying a sense of permanence, transform the building into a balanced statement of an efficient administrative center with a robust identity.
