Project idea:
Located in the historic city of Isfahan, Nikan Restaurant offers a distinctive dining experience by merging traditional Iranian elements with a contemporary architectural approach. The exterior façade, combining brick and wood, creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly draws in visitors. Subtle linear lighting enhances the nighttime appeal, establishing a strong and memorable visual identity for the restaurant.
Inside, the use of materials such as light-toned wood, textured brick, and wooden ceilings fosters a calm, familiar, and soothing environment. The brick columns, softly lit, evoke the essence of Iranian architecture while maintaining spatial coherence through clean lines and modern design.
Well-organized seating arrangements, simple furnishings in soft tones, and flexible spatial planning create a comfortable and functional setting for families and diverse groups. Modern ceiling and wall lighting has been thoughtfully positioned to ensure balanced and pleasant illumination throughout the day.
Nikan Restaurant stands as a successful example of integrating culture, functionality, and aesthetic appeal within the urban fabric of Isfahan — a space that respects the past while embracing the future.
